How to reach us

The Palazzetta del Vescovo represents an ideal starting point for discovering some of Umbria‘s most important historical towns such as Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Todi and Gubbio as well as other hilltop villages in nearby Tuscany (Cortona and Siena).

By car
From the north:
A1 Firenze-Roma (Valdichiana Exit), go on towards Perugia, merge onto the E45 in the direction of Rome and continue until the Fratta Todina/Montecastello di Vibio exit.
Drive on for about 7 km towards Fratta Todina

Pass the walls of Fratta Todina and turn left towards Spineta
.
After about 3 km, you‘ll pass the center of Spineta and its church.
Go on for another 300 mt then turn right onto the small road marked with cypress and pines trees.

From Perugia:
From the E45 exit at Fratta Todina/Montecastello di Vibio.
Continue on for about 7 km towards Fratta Todina

Pass the walls of Fratta Todina and turn left towards Spineta.

From the south:
A1 Roma-Firenze, exit at Orte.
Proceed along the highway towards Orte-Terni, exit at the interchange for the E45 Perugia-Cesena.
Drive on until the Fratta Todina/Montecastello di Vibio exit.

By plane
If you are travelling by plane, the nearest airport is the Sant‘Egidio International Airport (30 km) in Perugia. From the airport we can arrange for shuttle service at extra charge. Other international airports nearby are: the Amerigo Vespucci Airport, in Peretola, in the province of Florence (190 km), the Leonardo da Vinci Airport (165 km) in Fiumicino (Rome) and Galileo Galilei International Airport of Pisa (280 km).

By train
From the north, you can travel by train on the Firenze-Terontola-Perugia line, to the Ponte San Giovanni station then take a Ferrovia Centrale Umbra train to reach Marsciano. Otherwise, if you are coming by train from the south, you can use the Roma-Orte-Terni railway line, then from Terni you can reach Marsciano by a Ferrovia Centrale Umbra train. From the Marsciano train station you need to take a taxi as there is no bus service.
